When i was 7 years old i used to love Johnny Weissmuller's Tarzan movies. I was very impressed with the jungle he lived in. I really believed the people shooting these movies where somewhere deep in the heart of Africa. Later, and much to my disspointment, i learned that these films were shot in Florida, in sets built to mimick the jungle .As time passed, i discovered i lived only 5 miles away from a real jungle ! I also learned that my country and its inhabitants were considered "exotic".At least by the West's construction of the World.
